Yesterday I posted my first interview with an author J.F.Johns. I know I have a lot to improve, so you opinion matters a lot to me. So don’t be shy and comment whatever is on your mind. Because from now on you will get an interview every Tuesday, until none of the authors will want to talk with me! But let’s hope that won’t happen 😅
Until then I welcome everyone to participate in these interviews. I have 13 questions for every author, but you can add some of yours. Next Tuesday I will post an interview with Arnulfo Cantarero, author of sci-fi story “Emotions“. So, if you have any questions for him – feel free to ask in the form bellow or contact me via email email@example.com 😉
Hello my dearest, sweetest people, who still remember this blog or just found it!
I have been away from this place for quite some time, because I was thinking about changing to some other. However, like you see, I have decided to stay and wake this baby up. I love blogging! I prefer Instagram & Goodreads (I’m always active there), but I need more place to express myself. So, here I am again 😊
I plan on several new things that would make blog more interesting and active. First of them actually even includes my favorite number, which is “13” for many years now 😎 To put shortly, it will be interviews with published authors and I have named the column “13 questions”.
Some details that might be interesting at the moment:
Most of the questions will be the same with every author, but some will be changed every time.
You will actually get a change to ask something as well. I will publish the name of the author a week before the interview will reach the daylight. In that time I will accept your questions and give them to the authors.
Interviews will be published every week + they will be found under tag #13questions & on the drop menu of “Bookish adventures” in the place named “Interviews”.
For know this is all the news. It’s really exciting for me, authors that I have reached out to seems to feel the same way. So, I just hope that you will enjoy this as much as we do! 💝
The last thing to say is that the first author is J.F.Johnsand first interview will be published today or tomorrow. It’s not the week I promisedon’t, but only because it’s first time.
Hello 2017 & book lovers from all around the world!
I can even tell how hard was 2016 for me. I dropped out of the university, got a hard job,
lost few very close friends (still wish the best for them) and I was just a mess. I tried to be all over the place and I failed at everything. My reading game was horrible, so was all others my hobbies. I even let my bookstagram down, which is a big thing, because I love book community in Instagram. But that was last year and today is next. This year I won’t make promises, because I’m not sure I will keep them. But I will try to be as active as it will be possible. Also, my reading goal for 2017 is only 25 books, but it’s better to succeed at small one than fail with big.
However, few ARC’s are waiting, so I will read and review those for sure. I want to work more with authors this year. So, some interviews will be posted on this blog. Also, I have one idea about working with some bookstagramers or book bloggers. But I can’t say much about that, because first I need to talk about it with some people 🙂
So, at the end I want to say one thing. That I hope this year will be much better for me and for all of you. I’m not only talking about books, but everything. Life is beautiful. We should love it more.
Today is the day! Finally we will find out how second book of “Eternal Darkness” by J.F. Johns will look like. I can promise you – it’s gorgeous 🙂
But first about “Eternal Darkness”: The world is divided between humans and cyborgs.
Scarlet Lock is neither.
She is a soldier created to kill on command. But her memory has been erased and when she awakens in a government facility she soon discovers that this new world is a dangerous place, full of government secrets and cruel experiments performed in the name of progress.
With the help of a group of cyborgs, Scarlet will fight to uncover the truth and transform the future of the new world she now lives in.
Eternal Darkness is full of suspense, action and romance and will make readers question what it means to be human.
Next thing, be sure to read about J.F. Johns herself (press on the photo). Because not only she is a talented author, but also a very sweet and nice person. Trust a person, who had a honored to communicate with her few times (let’s not point fingers, but.. you know.. yeah, it was me :P)
I thought it would be good to explain why I was MIA for probably more than two months.
I could make a long, boring list about the things why I didn’t post anything. But the main thing is the fact that I lost the joy of reading for a while. I mean, I still was able to write reviews of previous reads, but I didn’t felt like it. It’s really horrible of disappearing like this, blog is a huge responsibility. However, I wasn’t good for any use. But I tried to keep my Bookstagram account as active as I could 😉
The most important thing. I’m back!
I plan to read more, even I will start to work next Saturday. Also, I will write all reviews that I haven’t finished yet. Moreover, I will contact few authors and get ready some interviews for you, guys! So, it would be awesome, if you let me know in the comments few of the questions that you would like to know about any author in general 😉 I promise, I will ask some of them for sure.
So, this is it for this time. I’m sorry for being gone for so long. I hope I will get ready some new projects for you all soon!.
Today I announced my first ever book giveaway on Bookstagram!
I collaborated with outstanding author Diana T. Scott and giveaway offer signed copy of her book “Our Demons, Best Friends” with a lovely bookmark. I have read and reviewed this book not so long time ago, so trust me when I say that this book is really good. Well, you can also check review here “Our Demons, Best Friends” 🙂
For full post and giveaway rules be sure to visit my Instagram account @GuTReadingTime. But I can say that following this blog is one of extra entries 😛
Hello My Birthday Month! April!!! I mean, April. Hello April! ♥
To be honest, this month gonna be very hard for me because of my studies. However, some exciting stuff is waiting to. But let’s look at the news consistently 🙂
Firstly, my “To Be Read” list is beautiful and soon enough I should be able to add two more books to it. Author D.A. Roach send me couple of her books for the honest reviews. The books are “Between the Bleeding Willows” & “Rarity”. I have to admit that I’m very excited for both of them. Moreover, very interesting fact is that D.A. Roach parents are originally from Lithuania, where I was born and live till this day. So, us fellow Lithuanian I feel very proud of this author 🙂
Second thing, I won a giveaway on Instagram! Some time ago I participated in little contest hosted by author Karyn Sepulved to win her book “Choosing Xaverique”. Today I saw the video on Karyn account and I was first to be announced as winner of three. Giveaway was small, but that really made my day. Winner announcement 🙂
Third thing, I started something like book club on Instagram with couple other girls. We are using #DreamReads tag and planning to start read-long of Dani Atkins books “Fractured” for two weeks from Sunday. The point is that everyone is welcome to join us. The more – the better! And if you have read the book by now, we would still be glad to see you on our discussion which also will be public on our bookish accounts in Instagram.
Last, but not least, I started a group for bookaholic’s on Goodreads. Everyone is welcome to join our (for now) small circle here Proud Bookaholic’s♥ Also, I plan pretty soon add first review in “Not Book Review” section. You don’t know what that is? Check page menu, description are waiting there.
This is it for first post of April. If you know more about my activity go visit “About Me & Love for Books”, because there I left all my contacts and links to sites where I publish my bookish thoughts 😉
It’s not related, but left only 26 days till my 21 birthday. I feel scare and excited. Maybe this year my birthday will be somehow special.
This lovely evening I’m saying Hello from chilly Lithuania!
I guess not many people in the world know about this little country in Europe near the Baltic sea. However, this isn’t geographic lecture about 3 millions of Lithuanians. For this first post in new bookish blog I have other idea in mind. Actually, I just want to introduce myself a little and tell about my “deal” 🙂
First thing first, I love books! You know, I don’t just love them. I ADORE THEM. I can boldly say:
,,I’m Agnieška, Gut to friends, and I’m proud bookaholic!”
So, you can accept it or leave it. The choice is yours. But if you decide to say, I recommend to follow this blog (follow button somewhere down bellow) 😉
So, if you decided to stay, I’m very happy that there is a book lovers who understand my addiction, because, let’s be honest, it’s not going anywhere. Moreover, I plan to post a lot about that in this blog. I can reassure that in this blog will be posted books reviews, news about upcoming books, maybe even interview with authors, giveaways and other related stuff. It’s hard so say from the first day all the possibilities, but the more people will join us here the more fun we will have. I can promise that.
What is important too is that the style of blog isn’t permanent. I’m looking for the best option for me and you. But feel free to look around, check “About Me & Love For Books” to get better view of where I came from (again, not about the country) and where else I spread my addiction (my contacts). For more look into my “To Be Read” list, just for curiosity 😉
The only thing that I want to add for this fist time is that I’m really sorry for my poor grammar. English isn’t my native language, but I’m trying my best. Just be patience and I will try to improve. Also, it’s my first blog on wordpress, so I’m not sure how things work here. So, if anyone know how you could help me in any way – I would be really grateful 🙂
